Lloyds Banking Group held their first internal Apprenticeship Awards

In June, we announced the winners of our first ever Group Apprenticeship Awards at a celebratory lunch in London. More than 70 applicants shared their inspirational experiences of being an apprentice in the Group – and how it had improved their personal development. Applicants were also assessed on how they had promoted our Apprenticeship Programme and their suggestions for any improvements that could be made to help future apprentices.

Kathryn Marshall, Senior Manager Apprenticeships said: “Our apprentices demonstrate tremendous commitment and drive to achieve their full potential. Manycongratulations to our winners - they’re an example to all those looking to develop and progress via our Apprenticeship Programme.”

Danielle Horton winner of the Intermediate Apprenticeship Award and now a Team Leader in Connect said “I feel empowered after attending such a motivational event - this has kick started my Level 3 team manager apprenticeship journey. I am feeling extremely proud of my award and positive about my future career with the Group.”
