What is an Apprentice Ambassador?
About

The Yorkshire and Humber Apprenticeship Ambassador Network (YHAAN) is a group of current and former apprentices from across the region. The YHAAN makes up part of the Apprentice Ambassador Network's nine regional areas.
Purpose

The purpose of an Apprentice Ambassador is to grow and expand the apprenticeship programme by engaging with young people. Ambassadors share their experiences to inspire and engage potential apprentices.
Role

The role of an Apprentice Ambassador is to inspire students through careers fairs, presentations, lived experiences, supporting with mock interviews and taking part in campaigns.

Mentorship
Ambassadors mentor peers, share experiences and advocate for continuous programme improvement.
Presenting
Ambassadors gain opportunities to strengthen their presentation skills through conferences, school presentations, and other speaking events
Community
The network fosters an inclusive community where apprentices support peers and shape their learning environment.
Events
Ambassadors have the opportunity to attend many events, including regional & national conferences, awards and even the House of Lords.
Leadership
Ambassadors develop leadership skills through leading projects, supporting campaigns and fostering positive influence.

Ambassadors have the opportunity to develop their network of employers and fellow apprentices within their local region.
