I began my career through a Level 6 degree apprenticeship in Construction Management, which provided me with a strong foundation and invaluable industry experience. Today, I work as a Build Manager for Tier 1 contractor Willmott Dixon, and have been involved in delivering a diverse portfolio of projects. My apprenticeship truly transformed the trajectory of my career, and I am now hounred to serve as Co-Chair of the Apprentice Ambassador Network, championing the value of apprenticeships and the opportunities they create for the next generation.

I did a Data Science Degree Apprenticeship whilst working in the pharmaceutical industry. I now work for Santander UK as a Governance Analyst within the Production Office area. I am also currently the Apprentice Co-Chair of the Yorkshire and Humber Apprenticeship Ambassador Network.

​I joined Jet2 in 2024 as their first-ever Sustainability Apprentice, studying the Level 4 Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability apprenticeship. The knowledge and skills gained through my apprenticeship have supported me with the on-going delivery of our Sustainability Strategy and Social Value Framework. To develop my expertise further, I am now completing a Level 7 Sustainability Business Specialist apprenticeship. I've had countless opportunities to develop both professionally and personally through my apprenticeships. I’m excited to continue championing the benefits of apprenticeships and early careers as I step into the role of Apprentice Vice Chair for YHAAN.

​I joined Jet2 in 2022 as a Level 3 Business Associate Apprentice and proudly achieved my qualification in early 2024. Since then, I’ve been part of the Emerging Talent team, where I manage our Brand Champions programme, work experience opportunities, and support graduates and placement students. In 2024, I also took on the role of social media lead for YHAAN, which has given me the chance to celebrate apprentices and share their stories. These experiences have helped me develop my skills, confidence, and passion for supporting early careers.

​I’m a Management Surveyor at HBD. I joined the company in May 2017 as a Property Assistant and enrolled onto my Real Estate Degree Apprenticeship at the University of Salford in June 2018. I graduated with First-Class Honours in December 2021 and completed my RICS APC in November 2022 to become a Chartered Surveyor. As part of the Yorkshire and Humber Apprenticeship Ambassador Network steering group, I’m passionate about supporting current and future apprentices and promoting the positive impact apprenticeships can have on careers and businesses.

​I’m a former Chartered Management Degree Apprentice at Sheffield Hallam University, graduating in May 2022. I have been part of the network for several years and between  2019 – 2025 Co-Chaired the network. I started my apprenticeship in a marketing role before changing to a sales position in business development. I’m still equally passionate about apprenticeships after all the opportunities mine has given me in my career – I wouldn’t be where I am today without it.

I was selected to be part of the Anglo American Cyber Security programme in October 2022, where I gained experience in Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Assurance, as well as Threat Intelligence, Human Cyber Behaviours, Vulnerability Management, Ethical Hacking, and Third Party Risk Management. I also gained ITILv4 and CISMP qualifications, as well as my Level 4 Cyber Security qualification. Once I graduated, I had the opportunity to join the Data Protection team as an analyst, which I have now been doing for a year, and have now moved into my second year in the role.

​I joined Wakefield Council at 23 for a Level 3 Learning & Development apprenticeship. I had done a degree previously but found myself without a real direction. My apprenticeship gave me a chance to enter the working world with guidance and support that was essential to my success. I have had incredible experiences during my apprenticeship from winning West Yorkshire’s Health & Public Services Apprentice of the Year in 2025 to joining the LGA Apprentice of the Year Day. I believe in the power of apprentices and the route they can offer and I want to share that with as many people as I can. Anyone can do an apprenticeship at any time and they should and I would love to help them through this fantastic journey.

 I recently joined Bagnalls as an (Apprentice) HR Advisor specialising in recruitment, therefore I am also completing the Level 5 People Professional Apprenticeship alongside my role (CIPD Level 5 Diploma in People Management). This course gives me a greater insight into various topics such as Organisational Culture, Talent Management, and the Value of People. I am very excited to be joining the Apprentice Ambassador Network as it gives me the opportunity to connect with other apprentices and organisations whilst championing the benefits of apprenticeships.  

​I joined DLA Piper after completing A-Levels and deciding to pursue the Solicitor Apprenticeship route over university and have completed rotations in Finance, Corporate, Intellectual Property & Technology and Litigation & Regulatory, due to go on secondment to one of our clients in February 2026. I have had so many experiences being part of DLA Piper, attending national and international conferences, attending in person client meetings cross-border and working with so many jurisdictions in a number of my seat rotations.

​Coming from a completely different background, I joined Jet2 as a Digital Marketing Apprentice with no prior experience in the industry. The apprenticeship opened the door to a new career path and gave me the opportunity to learn, grow and gain meaningful experience in digital marketing. I now work within the Mobile Apps team and my journey is a testament to the opportunities apprenticeships create, and I’m proud to champion the value they bring for anyone looking to build a new future for themselves.

​In 2023, I began a Digital Marketing Degree Apprenticeship with zero experience in marketing (or radiators, for that matter!) — just a strong determination to learn. Fast forward to 2025: I've graduated with a First Class Honours degree and now lead the Commercial and Marketing Department at Trust Electric Heating – the UK’s most awarded electric heating company.

I joined Jet2 as a Business Analyst Apprentice, on a level 4 apprenticeship within the IT Demand team. I am coming up to doing my EPA with Apprentify at the start of 2026. I have thoroughly enjoyed my role as I get to work with a variety of different departments, whilst managing internal app developments via Microsoft PowerPlatform. I also work closely with Copilot, being an ambassador for this within the company.

I am undertaking the Digital Technology Solutions degree apprenticeship. I have worked with different technologies, such as telecommunication, networking and Wi-Fi, for a range of different projects. I enjoy getting involved with different opportunities to develop skills, and I am excited to promote apprenticeships to others. 

​I work in Internal Communications at Jet2 as a Content Creator apprentice. Being an ambassador with YHAAN allows me to expand on my opportunities and experiences within my industry and gain a supportive network of professionals. I'm excited to continue to see YHAAN develop.
