In October this year, Katie Rankin, Apprentice & Graduate Programme Leader at BASF, along with apprentices, James Poole (Process Manufacturing Apprentice) and Jacob Pearson (Mechanical Engineering Apprentice) met with Anne Milton - Skills & Apprenticeships

Minister on a tour of Kirklees College.

James and Jacob confidently explained how they found their apprenticeships and the recruitment process, commenting on the careers advice and guidance available to them whilst in school. Anne Milton was very impressed with their confidence and dedication. There was a focus on investment to support the sourcing of high quality industry qualified teachers to support apprenticeship delivery.
